Ascend Assessments designed and developed the Assessment Center, called The League, for the Management Trainee program at HBL. The League assessed about 120 applicants by way of a mix of exciting and nerve-wrecking activities at Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad in order to shortlist the best-fit candidates for HBL.
In view of Hunar Foundation’s operations and its vision of seeking to raise the bar of vocational training in Pakistan as per international standards, the organization needed to extract higher value from its employed assets and human resources by streamlining and aligning its HR systems and processes with organizational goals. Ascend Development, therefore, was engaged by the organization to conduct a high level review (gap analysis) of the existing HR systems and revise and develop systems for the HR function in line with the organization’s goals and strategy.
Ascend took a group of engineers from MOL to the hills of Jabree in order for them to interact with each other, move past hierarchies and create a community of purpose.
Ascend Consulting designed, developed and executed the CCI’m Value PlayShop to ensure engagement of employees across Coca-Cola Içecek, across locations, across levels and across functions. The aim was to create an experience towards a winning culture where everyone owns and lives CCI values.
The second phase to the program was Train the Trainer where all the participants of CCI’m Value PlayShop were trained comprehensively by going through experiential learning, to extend the values’ launch across the entire organization.

Ascend organized Mondelez’s 2017 sales conference in Lahore to celebrate 9 Billion worth of sales in the last year. Build around a sports theme, the conference embodied a competitive spirit and kept the participants energized throughout. The event came to a close with a concert by the Pakistani legends, Noori.

Ciska Anema, an experienced Dutch trainer executed a short training program for the Field Operation Managers and Area Managers of a leading Pakistan FMCG Milk Processing company to help them to improve and expand their raw milk procurement and raw milk quality management system according to international standards.

The objective of these simulations was to build a strong understanding of business acumen among EFL employees so that interdepartmental coordination and collaboration is improved.

Ascend organized a leadership development and community building programme for the senior management of RB, Pakistan. This program was titled, "Pappu Yaar “and engaged the leadership in 2 days of activities and sessions that left them with greater motivation and connectivity. A centralized HR structure and operational framework was designed aligned with company’s strategic and people goals along with a detailed roadmap highlighting timelines and objectives of each action plan.
Ascend led a bootcamp for the manufacturing site of GlaxoSmithKline that aimed to improve connectivity and cross- functional communication. The 3 day outward bound journey allowed the individuals to connect with each other on a deeper level and increase communication for greater effectiveness in the workplace.
Led the entire P&G finance team on a 3 day outward bound journey aimed at leadership growth and development opportunities resulting in strengthening bonds, facing fears and learning to lead with courage through experiential learning. Feedback from the event was positive and each team member appreciated the experience.
Faraz Waheed, our experiential learning manager led the Accounting & Finance team on a customized outbreak, themed “Odyssey”. This five day event started off at Swat and involved exciting activities such as rafting, skiing at Malam Jabba, outrageous games and themed nights that captured the thrill of the event.
Ascend Consulting designed a development plan for the upcoming leadership to transit him into the leadership role through rotations in all SBUs. A plan was developed for various interventions like shadowing in management & HR related matters/meetings, reports and assignments, exposure meetings etc. Ascend team coordinated and arranged sessions on Manufacturing Excellence, TPM, Value Chain Improvement, Procurement, Designing Process Flow and visits to different manufacturing and processing plants. Through a dedicated philosophy, the goal was to fortify the SECMC team’s commitment to one of the most ambitious mining projects in Pakistan. The team was taken on an immersive Journey to Turkey on a customized program designed to increase unity, establish a survivalist attitude and teach the employees to effectively engage with each other.
This outbreak was held at Mubarak Village in 2015 for the current Management Trainee batch of K-Electric. The aim was to onboard the new recruits, give them a sense of purpose and create a sense of belonging within the individuals.
